Nigerian duo and Inter’s Agoume set to join Sevilla’s ranks

Sevilla FC has reached an agreement with Kelechi Iheanacho to join the club as a free agent. This follows the signing of Chidera Ejuke, also on a free transfer. Documents are being prepared, and Iheanacho, the former Leicester City forward, will join the club in the next few days.

Negotiations between Sevilla and Inter for Lucien Agoumé are progressing well. Agoumé wants to join Sevilla, stating it is his favorite destination, and personal terms have already been agreed upon. The deal is expected to be completed next week for a €4 million fixed fee plus a 40% sell-on clause to Inter, with a contract running until June 2028. Sevilla has lost two strikers during this transfer window so far, Youssef En-Nesyri to Fenerbahce and Rafa Mir to Valencia. Rafa Mir’s deal to Valencia is a loan with a buy clause worth €5 million.

These signings and departures reflect Sevilla’s active involvement in the transfer market as they aim to bolster the squad for the upcoming season, hoping to improve on their 14th place finish in the 2023/24 LaLiga campaign.
