After defeating Manchester City, AC Milan set to announce more reinforcements

AC Milan are preparing to finalize a few transfer moves in the coming days as they prepare for the upcoming season. The club has secured the signing of Strahinja Pavlović from Red Bull Salzburg. The Serbian center-back has agreed to a long-term deal with the Rossoneri, with the package estimated to be worth more than €18 million. Pavlović’s desire to join Milan has played a crucial role in finalizing the deal, which is set to be officially announced soon.

In addition to Pavlović, AC Milan is close to securing the services of Emerson Royal from Tottenham. The Brazilian defender is expected to join Milan’s camp this week, with one more round of talks scheduled for today. The Rossoneri’s efforts to bolster their squad don’t stop there. The club has also reached an agreement on personal terms with Youssouf Fofana weeks ago. The midfielder is eager to play Champions League football, which has fueled his desire to join Milan. However, there is still no agreement between Milan and Monaco regarding the transfer fee. West Ham had shown interest in Fofana, but the player’s rejection of their bid indicates his strong preference for Milan.

On the field, Milan showcased their potential in a pre-season friendly match against Manchester City, played on Sunday. The Rossoneri emerged victorious with a 3-2 win on US soil, thanks to a first-half brace from young forward Lorenzo Colombo.
