Inter resists Bastoni offers and extends captain Martinez’ contract

Alessandro Bastoni’s agent, Tullio Tinti, has confirmed recent interest from top clubs for the defender. “Man City asked for Bastoni years ago, and recently Real Madrid did the same” Tinti told Sky. However, he emphasized Inter’s stance: “Inter want to win and they’re not going to sell their top players like Bastoni.”

Despite ongoing rumours, there have been no talks or contacts between Inter and Arsenal or Inter and Jakub Kiwior’s camp. No agreement or negotiations are in place so far, dispelling speculation around potential moves.

On the other hand, Marseille has made a proposal for Valentín Carboni, seeking a loan deal with a buy option clause worth €36 million. The Nerrazzuri would retain a buy-back clause for a slightly higher amount, ensuring continued control over the player’s future. Discussions are ongoing, with crucial details still being ironed out.

Meanwhile, Inter president Marotta recently confirmed Lautaro Martínez’ new deal with the club. “Lautaro Martínez has signed a new deal at the club, it’s all sealed”. The contract, which will be officially announced in the coming days, extends until June 2029, securing the striker with a five-year contract worth €9 million net per season, plus add-ons.
