Lazio to replace Immobile with Greenwood, Nuno Tavares also joining the Eagles from Rome

Ciro Immobile has agreed to a two-year deal with Besiktas. Lazio has given the green light, and now the clubs are ironing out the final details. Immobile’s departure marks a big change for Lazio, who have been busy in the transfer market, trying to find the right replacement.

It will be in the face of Mason Greenwood as he is set to join the Eagles. The forward has rejected Marseille’s offer and will undergo medicals this Saturday. The contract is ready, and Lazio will be his new home. Greenwood’s move signals a fresh start for the player after a tumultuous period.

Additionally, Nuno Tavares is also on his way to Lazio. A verbal agreement on a five-year contract has just been reached, with the deal set to last until June 2029. Nuno will travel this weekend for medical tests and if all goes to plan to sign the formal documents. Arsenal will receive €9 million, with the transfer structured as a loan with a mandatory buy clause and a sell-on clause.
