AC Milan in negotiations for 3 defenders, Ibrahimovic has a striker in mind

AC Milan continue to actively pursue new talent for the upcoming season, with interest in multiple players. The club is working to secure Emerson Royal from Tottenham Hotspur. The Brazilian right-back has expressed his desire for regular playing time, stating, “I want to play on a regular basis, I don’t want to sit on the bench. AC Milan? It’s a reference for all Brazilians.” Although Tottenham are holding out for over €20 million, Milan’s initial bid was under €15 million, and they are expected to submit a higher one soon. A five-year contract has been agreed upon since May.

French international Youssuf Fofana has agreed on personal terms with the Rossoneri, signaling his intention to leave Ligue 1 and Monaco. Despite interest from Premier League clubs, Fofana’s priority remains Milan. Negotiations with Monaco are ongoing, with Milan aiming to meet the club’s valuation after Monaco rejected a €30 million bid from Nottingham Forest.

AC Milan has also opened discussions with RB Salzburg to sign center-back Strahinja Pavlovic. The player is keen on the move, and Milan sees him as a key addition to their defence.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic confirmed that AC Milan is no longer pursuing Joshua Zirkzee, saying, “Zirkzee? It’s the past for us. We already have the new striker in mind but I’m not gonna tell you the name.” Additionally, Ibrahimovic mentioned that Divock Origi and Fode Ballo-Toure are not part of Milan’s plans and will be relegated to the Youth team.
