West Ham intesify negotiations for Jhon Duran

West Ham United have set their sights on securing the services of Aston Villa’s promising young striker, Jhon Durán. With negotiations underway, the Hammers are increasing their efforts to improve their attacking options. The Hammers have already submitted multiple bids for the 20-year-old Colombian forward, with the latest proposal reportedly worth around £35 million plus a 10% sell-on clause. Personal terms have already been agreed with Durán, reflecting the player’s desire for a move away from Villa Park.

Durán currently finds himself behind Ollie Watkins in the pecking order at Aston Villa. He took part in 37 games across all competitions last season, scoring 8 goals in the process, but clocked up just 1,103 minutes of playing time. The Hammers are keen to bring in a forward who can add depth and competition to their attacking options. The club plans to intensify their pursuit of Durán in the coming days, with negotiations set to continue this week.

The 20-year-old’s potential move to West Ham is seen as a strategic acquisition for present and future, fitting within the club’s price range while also offering a significant upside given Durán’s talent and promise. West Ham’s management is optimistic about reaching an agreement that satisfies all parties involved. As the transfer window progresses, West Ham fans will be eager to see if the club can finalize the deal and secure a key addition to their squad in the Colombian forward.
