Bellingham battles with shoulder injury to lead England forward

Jude Bellingham has been playing through a shoulder injury since November 2023 but will continue to avoid surgery until after the Euros. The talented midfielder will play with protection until further action is deemed necessary. Despite the injury, Bellingham’s performance has remained at a high level.

Bellingham’s ability to maintain his form has been nothing short of remarkable. Even with the injury affecting his agility and speed, he continues to shine and score crucial goals on the football pitch. The midfielder scored the only goal in England’s 1-0 victory against Serbia in their opening game of Euro 2024. His recent heroics in the round of last-16 clash against Slovenia showcased his importance to the England squad. Bellingham saved the Three Lions from elimination by scoring a spectacular scissors kick deep into injury time, forcing the match into extra-time.

England face Switzerland in Euro 2024 quarter-finals, where the Real Madrid midfielder will have another chance to prove his resilence and show his skills. Since the start of the 2023/24 season, Bellingham has played 49 matches for club and country. Despite the ongoing shoulder issue, he remains a pivotal figure for England as they chase their 1st ever European Championship title.
