Spinazzola and Patricio leave Roma, Dybala open to extension

Roma is undergoing major changes this summer, with key departures and potential contract renewals shaping the club’s future. Leonardo Spinazzola has officially left the club, a move that was anticipated. Napoli has shown interest in the Italian left-back, engaging in discussions with his agents. However, it remains to be seen if they will finalize the transfer.

Rui Patricio, Roma’s stalwart goalkeeper, also departs as a free agent. Patricio expressed his gratitude towards the club and its supporters, stating, “Thank you Roma for these 3 years! 129 matches, and 2 European finals! A special thought and a big hug to all the fans who supported me on this unforgettable journey! I hope that you continue to win. Always Forza Roma.”

In more positive news for Roma fans, Paulo Dybala is open to extending his contract with the club. Roma’s pre-season preparations will be led by coach Daniele de Rossi, who took over in January 2024 after the departure of Jose Mourinho. De Rossi will be looking to integrate new signings and solidify the team’s strategy for the upcoming Serie A season.
