Betis sign Marc Roca, let Juan Miranda leave for free

Real Betis are making moves to rebuild their squad, beginning with solidifying their midfield and defensive lines. The club has confirmed the permanent signing of Marc Roca from Leeds United for a fee of €4.5 million. Roca has committed to a contract until June 2028, with an option to extend for an additional year. This acquisition aims to strengthen Betis’ midfield as they look to improve their standing in La Liga next season.

In another move, Betis are set to part ways with Juan Miranda, who is on the verge of joining Bologna. Miranda is currently in Italy undergoing medical tests before signing a long-term deal with the Serie A club. The defender leaves Betis as a free agent, marking the end of his tenure with the team. The transfer is part of Betis’ strategy to refresh their squad and address key areas ahead of the new campaign.

Betis finished in 7th position in La Liga, collecting 57 points throughout the 2023/24 season. This solid performance has earned them a spot in the Europa Conference League, where they will represent Spain and aim to make an impact on the European stage.
