Piero Ausilio shared promising news about Denzel Dumfries, whose contract is set to expire next summer. “Denzel has told me he wants to stay. He’s happy to continue here” Ausilio told Sky. He further added, “We will discuss his contract soon. In case there are new proposals, we will talk with Denzel, but he’s happy here.” Lautaro Martinez and the Nerazzurri have reached a verbal agreement on the details of a new contract. The deal, which includes the final steps on the add-ons structure, is now done and set to be signed as soon as Martinez returns from Copa America. The contract will keep him at Inter until June 2029, with a salary of €9 million net per year plus add-ons. In addition to securing Martinez, Inter is also finalizing a new deal for Nicolo Barella. It is expected that the midfielder will sign his new contract soon, with all terms, including salary and contract length, already agreed upon.
