Brunson and Jokic lead Knicks and Nuggets to victories

New York Knicks came on top of the Indiana Pacers when the two organizations met at Madison Square Garden last night. Jalen Brunson inspired his teammates to a blow-out 121:91 win, after dropping 44 points on 18/35 shooting. He was significantly aided by Isaiah Hartenstein who was an unstoppable force under the rim, grabbing 12 offensive rebounds and 17 in total. Josh Hart concluded the night with a double-double of 18 points and 11 boards, while Miles McBride and Alex Burcs scored 17 and 18 points respectively. Pascal Siakam had 22 points for the Pacers, but All-Star guard Tyrese Haliburton recorded just 13 points and 5 assists. New York Knicks are now 3-2 up in the Eastern Conference semi-finals, with the series moving to Gainbrigde Fieldhouse for game 6, which is scheduled for Friday.

NBA’s regular season MVP Nikola Jokic showed everyone what he is capable of when his Denver Nuggets took on Minnesota Timberwolves. The defending champions won 112:97 at their Ball Arena, taking 3-2 lead in the series. The Joker finished the game with 40 points, 13 assists, and 7 rebounds for 41 minutes on the court. Karl-Anthony Towns was Minnesota’s top scorer with 23 points, while the team’s young star Anthony Edwards finished with 18 points to his name.
