Real Madrid players Nacho Fernandez, Lucas Vazquez, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, Kepa, and Joselu all have contracts expiring this summer. The policy of the club’s president Florentino Perez is to allow the seasoned players to decide for themselves whether they want to continue or to leave the team. Nacho has already made it clear he will be leaving at the end of the current campaign, but the futures of Vazquez, Modric, Kroos, Lunin and the latest hero in Los Blancos’ squad – Joselu remain unclear.
⚪️ Not only Kroos and Modrić cases set to be decided very soon, both open to different scenarios.
🇪🇸 Real Madrid also plan to advance in final stages of talks to extend Lucas Vázquez contract soon.

Fabrizio Romano reports that Vazquez and Ukrainian goalkeeper Lunin who enjoyed a great breaktrough campaign will soon be offered new deals. Even in their late 30s, the duo of Kroos and Modric is still vital part of Real Madrid’s plans in the middle of the park, while Joselu has earned the right to stay with the club with numerous contributions from the bench. The striker’s case is the toughest one, with the competition for places in the attacking third expected to be fierce. Joselu is currently on loan from Espanyol, and Real can make the deal permanent for as little as €1.5 million if they decide to exercise the buy option inserted into the contract. Brazilian sensation Endrick will join Real Madrid in July and he will not be alone. France’s superstar Kylian Mbappe is also expected in the Spanish capital this summer, but whoever Los Blancos acquire, they will find place for the deserving figures of the past.
