Newcastle’s Brazilian midfielder Bruno Guimaraes has £100 million release clause inserted into his Newcastle contract. The option will be valid only for a one month period, between the last week of May and the beginning of the last week of June of this year. The news revealed by Fabrizio Romano gives hope to PSG, Arsenal, Manchester City and other big clubs recently linked with the midfielder.

Guimaraes became part of the Magpies in January of 2022 when joining from French side Lyon in a €42.1 million deal. During his time at Newcastle the 26 year old has appeared in 102 matches across all competitions with 14 goals and 14 assists. Throughout the current 2023/24 campaign Bruno Guimaraes has featured in 32 games, scoring 4 goals and providing 6 assists. He made his debut for Brazil’s senior team in November 2020 and so far has gone on to represent his country on the international stage on 20 occasions. Bruno Guimaraes currently holds an €85 million price tag according to the Transfermarkt portal.
