Boston Celtics become the 1st team to reach 50 wins this season in NBA

Boston Celtics defeated Portland Trail Blazers 121:99 away from home last night in the NBA and became the first team to reach 50 victories in the course of the current season. Jaylen Brown dropped 27 points, while Jason Tatum added 26 and Sam Hauser scored 22 after coming off the bench. DeAndre Ayton was the highest scorer for Portland, ending the night with a double-double of 22 points and 15 rebounds.

Hauser who was awarded with the player of the game trophy had it going from downtown, finishing with 22 points on 8/12 from the field and 6/10 from long range in what was only the fifth 20-point game of his career.

Boston showed extremely disciplined play, finishing the game with just three turnovers, their second-lowest tally for the season. The latest win not only cements Boston’s position at the top of the NBA standings but also sends a clear message to the rest of the league about their championship aspirations. With this level of performance, the Celtics are firmly keeping the pace, aiming to maintain their lead and secure a home court advantage for the playoff series.
