Luka Modric came off the bench to deliver all three points to Real Madrid in a thrilling LaLiga match against Sevilla on Sunday. The 38 year old midfielder has lost his starting spot in Real Madrid’s line-up and more often enters the field as a substitute, and that was the case last night but his impact was undeniable. The veteran playmaker entered the field in the 75th minute, and needed just 6 minutes to give Real the lead with a well-placed finish from outside the box. After 25 LaLiga rounds so far, Modric has started in 11 and has remained until the finish in only 2, while being replaced 9 times. 10 of his appearances have come from the bench and has been an unused substitute in 4 of Real Madrid’s league games.
