Turkish giants Galatasaray are negotiating with Nottingham Forest regarding a possible transfer for right-back Serge Aurier. Fabrizio Romano reports that the two teams have already reached an agreement and the deal is at its final stage. Galatasaray were in desperate need of a new player who can operate on the right side of the defence after sending Sacha Boey to Bayern Munich in exchange of €30 million.

Serge Aurier is 31 year old and has played for the teams of Lens, Toulouse, and PSG in the French Ligue 1, before spending four seasons with Tottenham in the Premier League. His left the Spurs after the expiration of his contract in 2021 and joined Villarreal in LaLiga where Aurier spent one term and once again left after his deal expired. The defender joined Nottingham Forest in September of 2022 and since then has recorded 41 matches in across tournaments, in which he has scored 1 goal and has provided 2 assists.
