Jurgen Klopp announces shock decision to leave Liverpool at the end of the season

Today, 26th of January 2024 is not a good day for Liverpool fans around the world. In a shocking revelation for the club’s internet page, the German manager confesed that he will be leaving the position at the end of the current season. Klopp was appointed as the Reds’ head coach in 2015, inheriting the post from Rafa Benitez. His best moments with the team include winning the Premier League title in 2020, and the Champions League in 2019. If it was not for Real Madrid, the German could have achieved much more success in Europe, but Los Blancos defeated his Liverpool twice in Champions League finals and also eliminated them two times in the knock-out rounds of the tournament.

Klopp has said that he has no energy left to lead the club any longer. Almost the entire coaching staff at Anfield will follow in his footsteps and will be leaving the team, including assistent managers Pepijn Lijnders and Peter Krawietz, as well as development coach Vitor Matos.
