Bayern Munich lost another three players due to injuries in their latest match against Union Berlin on Wednesday. Both Dayot Upamecano and Konrad Laimer could not finish the game and were substituted, while Joshua Kimich remained on the field for the full 90 minutes with a shoulder problem. With the latest additions to the threatment room, the Bavarian giants become very short on defensive options, as they have Kim Min-jae and Noussair Mazraoui representing South Korea and Morocco at the Asian Cup and the African Nations Cup respectively. Bayern is desperately needing a right-back and after being linked with Noni Madueke and Kieran Trippier recently, now Fabrizio Romano reports that Galatasaray’s Sacha Boey has emerged as the latest target and that both clubs are already in negotiations about a possible move.

Talks continue in the morning as Bayern hope to fly Sacha to Munich on Friday.
Contract ready; Boey told Gala that he wants the move.

Boey is a 23 year-old French defender operating mainly on the right of the defense. He has been part of the Turkish club since the summer of 2021 when joining from Rennes for a mere €1.15 million. Two seasons and a half later, according to Transfermarkt, Sacha Boey has a market value of €22 million. In the 2023/24 season the player has already recorded 31 games in all tournaments in which he has scored 1 goal.
