Eder Militao might have played just 1 game for Real Madrid this season, but the club and player have decided to extend the current contract to 2028. Los Blancos have inserted a €1 billion release clause into the new deal which will see the Brazilian remain in the Spanish capital for another four years. Militao is currently recovering from a torn ACL injury sustained on the very first round of LaLiga action for the 2023/24 season. The center-back is expected to return to full training soon and be ready to play as early as March.
