The 27 year old defender spent four full seasons between 2018 and 2022 in the French capital, wearing the PSG colours and winning all possible trophies in France. In August of 2022 Kehrer was transferred to West Ham in England for a €12 million fee and won Europa Conference League in his first season in London. In this campaign, Kehrer has clocked up just 18 minutes of football in the Premier League spread across 4 games. He has represented the German national team 27 times but his last game was last summer, when playing 90 minutes against Poland. Since then Kehrer has not been call-up for any of the following 6 Germany matches.
Kehrer moves to Monaco in search of more game time, with Euro 2024 just six months away. If he features regularly in Ligue 1, it will come as no surprise if Kehrer finds a spot in Julian Nagelsmann’s squad for the continental tournament.
